Most of you already know me, but for those who haven’t been quite so fortunate, this is me. I am Kellie Anderson, brought to our beloved institution by glory and riches…well by a golf scholarship. I am a double major of business and English so I have yet to decide whether this makes me really smart or the highest level of stupid.
My dream is to one day open up my own art gallery. I want to be able to show that even in the midst of darkness, beauty exists. A true artist is one who sees beyond what is to what can be. I have a vision for what my gallery can be and a higher purpose for it. I want to show people what has passed so that they can learn from it; I want to show them the present condition so that they can recognize the good, distinguish between the bad, and hopefully inspire them to act.
I am in this wonderful class for many reasons: I need it to graduate; Dr. Maxwell is an amazing teacher; I haven’t taken an actual literature class like this since high school. Classes like this are why I originally became an English major.
